Deputy Shop Manager

RSPCA Magdalen St Shop, 58a Magdalen Street, Norwich, NR3 1JE

£11.50 an hour

24 hours a week (with full time hours required when covering managers holidays and sickness)

The Deputy Shop Manager will work under the direction of the shop manager and the Retail Trading Manager and will ensure the smooth running of the shop, including sales, sorting and storage areas; promoting merchandise to attract custom and achieve sales targets of donated and new goods; recruiting and training volunteers. Providing a good standard of service to customers within specified guidelines and ensuring best practice in the shop.

Working alongside a manager and volunteer team you will motivate the team to achieve sales and Gift Aid targets.

An outgoing and enthusiastic individual you will possess the ability to react quickly and positively to the changing dynamic of a both the charity retail sector and our expanding branch. You will be able to support both your manager and volunteer team.

Receptionist

RSPCA Norwich Office, Ashwellthorpe, Norfolk, NR16 1EX

£10,764 a year

18 hours a week

The Receptionist will work under the direction of the Office Manager (OM) and will be the first point of contact for all enquiries into RSPCA Norwich.

Working collaboratively with staff, volunteers and Trustees you will ensure that the customer experience offered is of the highest standard, from initial contact through to outcome.

An outgoing and enthusiastic individual, you will proactively seek to always improve and streamline the customer care function within the charity where necessary, with a focus on both internal and external stakeholders.

At all times you will maintain the excellent standards expected from the RSPCA, and be supportive and sympathetic to the aims of the charity.
